During the 16 days activism period (from 25th Nov 2024 to 10th Dec 2024) SEHADA conducted 12 nos. of different programme to create awareness at community level.
In a determined effort to promote gender equality, prevent gender-based sex selection, and empower the girl child through education and awareness, SEHADA (Socio Economic Health & Agricultural Development Association) has undertaken a series of awareness programmes across multiple areas of Jharsuguda district. The initiative focused on educating the public about the PCPNDT Act (Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act) and furthering the national campaign of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
The programme also emphasized gender sensitization, encouraging young boys and girls to question stereotypes, challenge discrimination, and support equal opportunities for all. Activities like group discussions, open forums, and pledge-taking ceremonies were organized to make students feel actively involved in the mission.

Inter National Women’s Day was celebrated at One stop Centre jointly organized by One Stop Centre and Shakti Sadan project managed by SEHADA Programme officer and others staff of DSWO section were present in the programme. OSC, Shakti Sadan Staffs and inmates of Shakti Sadan were participated in District level International women’s day programme as the part of partnership and convergence
